However, these snow globes tell a different story.
These two artists have been working together since 1993. They sculpt miniature figures set in snowy outside scenes that depict sometimes horrible situations. Each snow globe tells a story and it’s up to the viewer to fill in the blanks of those stories. Some of these miniature people seem trapped in a fairy-tale like story.

The snow globes are part of their Travelers series. They are a limited edition as only 250 signed snow globes were made. As for the price of one of these, searching around on the Internet shows they are sold for $750.

Wow, I wish I had received one of these snow globes when I was younger. I think if I had gotten one of these, I would have been too afraid to leave my room. I love the detailed and haunting scenes. These snow globes hold cherished memories you aren’t likely to forget any time soon. And with Christmas in July rapidly approaching, these would make a great addition to any party. Provided that you have $750 to spend.

View more works of Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz.

Turn Your iPhone into a Surveillance Device

Good news Apple iPhone lovers Lextech, a company that develops surveillance systems has created an application, which provides users’ control over their surveillance systems using an iPhone. It’s actually an all-in-one surveillance device in your iPhone. Because of its interactive feature, the application will not just let you watch the action on the phone; it can also let the user control the cameras via the iPhone’s touch screen. Since traditional surveillance systems use a joystick or mouse to control camera positioning; with this newly created application, the user has the potential of a much more intuitive interface to drag the camera around and zoom in on things with just a touch of the screen. The company is still ongoing on the application’s development and will soon release it not later this year. Geez! How’s that for a high-end security huh?

See video on how the application works on the iPhone:

Infinity Total Solutions TSS-450

If you’re interested in buying your first home theater speaker system and you’re on a tight budget, I recommend you buy the Infinity TSS-450 speakers. A budget 5.1 surround-sound system with a 100-watt powered subwoofer. According to some reviews, despite its low price, sound reproduction is very accurate and the system is capable of delivering pleasing bass in smaller rooms. Furthermore, experts say dialogue sounds crisp and clear. The sub is bulky, but the satellites are small – it would be of good use in rooms that might otherwise be overwhelmed by five full-sized speakers plus a subwoofer. The estimated selling price for this particular speaker is $175; definitely one of the cheaperst 5.1 surround speakers their is on the market.

iluv I1155 Portable DVD Player With iPod Dock

For your perfect movie viewing and music experience; this portable device, the iLuv I1155 8.4-Inch LCD Portable DVD Player With iPod Dock is definitely right for you.

The iLuv i1155 is a sleek device and cordless player with a monitor for iPod, DVDs, CDs and more, featuring an 8.4″ TFT color LCD screen with wide screen aspect ratio and built-in dual stereo speakers. Better read this:
A Chinese company, Golden Dragon Group Ltd's have developed a state-of-the-art electronic cigarette or e-cigarette, which uses micro-electronic technology to provide users with a real smoking experience without tar and tobacco found in real cigarettes. This new invention is astounding; I’d get me one of this ASAP.
According to Scott Fraser, the Vice President of SBT Co. Ltd., the Beijing-based firm that first developed the electronic cigarette technology in 2003 and which is now controlled by Golden Dragon:

“It looks like a cigarette, it tastes like a cigarette, it smokes like a cigarette, but it isn’t a cigarette, it contains no tobacco, and the “smoke” is just vapor. Containing state of the art micro-electronic technology this re-chargeable e-cigarette produces a real smoking experience without any of the deeply unpleasant side effects of tobacco. As you inhale a tiny battery vaporizes liquid inside the cigarette producing smoke. You can insert cartridges (it comes with a set of them) that will release nicotine - or of course choose to skip the nicotine altogether and just puff away on what is virtually nothing. Of course people may come finger wagging at you telling to put it out (it looks that real), but there’s nothing to put out.”

The e-cigarette will be sold for $208 per piece. Nowadays popular items like digital cameras, personal audio players and mobile phones are usually eyed by thieves, so you need to make sure that these things are out of the sight of their sight. Gadget geeks should worry no more cause iDisguise have developed an anti theft device that can hide your iPod. It's kinda old and bulky, yet it's very useful when it comes to my job as a search engine optimizer and my extra career as an amateur blogger. My precious laptop is driven by a fast 2 GHz Pentium 4 processor, with 512 MB of SDRAM (expandable to 1,024 MB), a fast front-side bus speed of 400 MHz, and a 128 MB ATI M6-P graphics chip. It has a 15-inch XGA TFT active-matrix display, a 40 GB hard drive and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW. It runs on Windows XP Service Pack 2 OS. Actually I bought this laptop from a very good source in Ebay for only 360 dollars. Cheap eh! If you're planning to buy in Ebay just make sure that the seller is a trusted one and has positive feedbacks from its buyers.

I Want a Nokia Xpress Music Phone

I'm interested in buying a new cellular phone. I'm tired of using my old and bulky Nokia N-Gage phone. So I scoured the net for the latest but rather cheap Nokia mobile phones. While surfing for new releases from Nokia, my eyes suddenly couldn’t resist not looking at this particular phone, it's a Nokia 5310 Xpress Music. Although I’m not particularly into “what’s on the latest” or the “IN” thing, but I definitely follow my own needs and wants. Its actually a very convenient phone due to its thin and sleek design. Since I'm a music lover, it would be a very useful phone for me. I'm definitely buying this phone one of these days. I'm already imagining myself grabbing one and downloading some music from my laptop and listening to it while I am in the office working. I could also customize it by downloading some themes and some Nokia Xpress Music wallpapers. That's it for now and I'm back to work.

Keyboard Pants For Gadget Geeks

This is probably one of the leading and cutting edge technology ever built in our time.
